Bree Smith

Bree has a background in the visual arts, events and education. She moved to the Canterbury region eleven years ago and has lived in Ōhinehou for ten, enthusiastically walking the tracks and imbibing the culture.

She currently works as a secondary school art teacher and as a consultant for an art gallery in Wellington.

Bree regularly visits museums and galleries wherever in the world she happens to be and has a penchant for small, strange museums and idiosyncratic collections.

As a committee member and museum studies graduate, she is particularly interested in governance and public engagement.
