Rachel Jefferies

Rachel has worked with charitable organisations and cultural institutions across Aotearoa New Zealand in a variety of roles, including fundraiser, copyeditor, event producer, musician, and board member. Her work has included producing events as part of the public programmes at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa.

She has served on the Society’s Management Committee since June 2024. She especially values the museum’s commitment to telling local stories with heart, and the deeper understanding of our past, present, and future that this inspires.

During the day, Rachel works as a fundraising consultant.
