Our 2026 calendar features images spanning the 20th century from the so-called heroic era of Antarctic expeditions to the 1960's Operation Deep Freeze. Included are images of the Robert Falcon Scott and Ernest Shackleton expeditions which departed from Lyttelton, images from newspaper reports or postcards promoting the expeditions. We hope you enjoy this year's images and we encourage you to explore the thousands of objects in our collection and available on our website.
